Land of Smiles Thailand:

Hi and welcome. The Land of Smiles Thailand channel is maintained by Mem and Simon Los. This page encompasses lifestyle, factual and cultural observations from the perspective of a foreigner and Thai national living and retiring in Thailand together. We share our life stories here on YouTube to entertain while providing you with a community of people who are experiencing similar situations as yourself. We present pertinent information that we hope helps your visit to Thailand be more fulfilling or if you are living in Thailand more rewarding. We do not pretend to know it all, in fact, some of the fun is in the finding out. Above all else, we pride ourselves on being a Thailand themed YouTube channel that has subscribers who have gone from commenters to good travelling friends, this bringing people together with a universal appreciation of Thailand to us is our most significant success.

The Land of Smiles Thailand YouTube channel has also evolved to LOST Homestay Resort where their subscribers and other tourists can come and stay:

We are a family-run resort, Mem – Thai and Simon – English available to help you with any inquiries. The newly built resort is equipped with a professional gym and saltwater swimming pool. Ideally situated for exploring, we are located near Phetchaburi, and Ratchaburi, 2 hours south of Bangkok and 60 minutes north of Cha-Am. Tours available to temples, caves, beaches, National park and many more locations with guide and translator. Food, available on site as is alcohol and plenty of close by restaurants. Taxi service available. Room rates currently are 1 000 baht for double rooms per night room only and bungalow 1 500 baht per night room only.

Welcome to our Channel, Our Life Thai. Our aim is to both inform and entertain. You’ll learn about Thai lifestyle, food, culture, marriage, travel, being early retired and our shared passion for golf. I have been living in Thailand with my Thai wife since Oct 2015. My wife, Ta, grew up in Northern Thailand, about 10 hours bus ride from Bangkok in the Province of Phayao. But she’s been living in Bangkok for the past 20 years. Ta is an office supervisor and has a team of 9 people working under her. After falling madly in love with this amazing lady, I quit my job, sold everything that I owned and moved to Thailand from Sydney Australia. I hope that you enjoy watching our videos and that they give you a greater understanding of life in Thai. Look forward to seeing you here often. We will always welcome your comments, feedback and suggestions for content. Take care Brad & Ta.
